The Quick Add List Dialog contains a list of commonly
eaten foods in common portions. You use it to populate your
custom My Foods list with the foods
you eat.
You simply check the boxes on the list (click on the item's rectangle, or double
click anywhere on the item)
for the foods you want
to add, and click the Add Foods button. The checked items,
along with any new Categories that are needed, are added in one
quick operation.
Quick Add foods are organized into Groups
to assist you in finding the foods you need quickly. If one of the groups
seems to fit the foods you are seeking, select it in the drop-down list.
Or select the ALL Groups to see everything. If showing a
specific group, you can click the All button to show all categories.
The quick jump buttons above the list will also help you quickly find the food you
want to select. Click the letter to jump to the first food starting with that
letter. Click again to go to the next. If the letter is grayed out, there are no
foods in your list starting with that letter.
Use the Find feature to search the item descriptions for a word,
part of a word or phrase. Click the Go button or just press Enter to
jump to the next item that matches.
You can right-click on the list to invoke
a pop-up speed menu. From this menu, you can View Selected Item,
Check All Items or
Clear all Selections.
Once you have checked the desired foods, click the Add Foods
button to add them to your My Foods list.
The
Food Composition Graphs for the
highlighted item are shown at the
bottom of the screen.
