Eatometer
is designed to make the tracking of your nutritional
intake as painless as possible. Once you have set up your food list, you
should be able to log a meal or snack in well under a minute!
In addition to helping you track your food intake,
Eatometer
provides features to help you plan your daily nutrition.
Eatometer
allows you to quickly enter the things
you eat. It shows running totals of calories, protein, fat, carbs,
sodium and potassium (or phosphorus) for the day.
It shows your daily totals, and
shows the amounts as a percentage of your nutritional goals if desired.
You select eaten your foods from
a frequently used custom list instead of a huge food database. You create this list
by entering nutrition facts yourself, importing foods from the Quick Add list
of common foods, or importing foods from the USDA Master list.
The standard version of
Eatometer
supports eight users!
The Master list of foods included,
contains the complete USDA SR13 database (ok, not quite complete,
the baby foods have been removed) as well as many fast foods.
After you have used
Eatometer
a while, you will rarely need to add foods to your custom (My Foods) list.
You can also use the Master list to find foods that meet certain dietary criteria,
such as fat or protein content. You can do searches to find what you need to
round out your diet. Then you can run a different search on the results to refine
your choices.
Eatometer
lets you create plan days, which you can use to try to match foods to achieve your
desired nutritional goals, and to load into a daily eaten log as a plan for today's
food.
